LOL! Watch the left hand side of the screen. In the cage, there is something (another bird? a ferret?) that periodically will bop along with the music too.

No, just a photo I snatched off the internet. I wanted to see what an African Grey looked like. Thought maybe someone else perusing this thread might also be interested. Love the bright red tail.

I have little experience with birds. But, a few years ago, the owner of the health club where I worked out had a pure white bird similar to the one in the video (Cockatoo?). He kept it at the club. She was very friendly and we were permitted to take her out of her cage.

She loved having someone slide their fingers under her feathers, particularly those around her neck, and gently massage or stroke her. She would sit on my shoulder and nuzzle my neck with the top of her head in return.

She was a sweetie and was always glad to see me. He ended up giving her to another club member who, like me, had fallen in love with her.

Cockatoos will let you rub their neck ALL DAY if you want.

I miss my Grey. Several years ago when I was living a more 'nomadic' lifestyle I let a friend take care of her. Months turned into years, and he still has her. He's grown quite attached to her, but is ready to give her back....I just need to go get her. She's living in FL now. Still talks in my exwife's voice..:jiggy:

LOL! And I, being the sucker for critters that I am, would rub that neck nearly all day. I got my workout in, but it took me hours longer than it should have. :biglaugh:

Will you be O.K. with your Grey sounding like your ex? ;)

Oh yeah, sure. Even though my ex and I have been at extreme odds...we get along pretty well.

I have lots of stories about Maya (my Grey). One of the funny ones was on a Sunday morning. Kids were sleeping in, so mamma and I were enjoying some good 'ol morning luvin.....

we heard a noise that sounded like the door squeaking open.....checked and it wasn't the kids. So we kept going....heard it again.

Look over at Maya, and she's glued to the front of her cage, staring at us. She was moaning just like my wife!! Pissed my ex off big time....
