UMM....Seth? Are you implying that Denon has been singled out for this cable while other manufacturers have been given a pass? I've been on the forums for 6 years and I've seen probably a hundred or more threads about expensive cables. This is the first time I've seen the Denon name mentioned. I'm sure Denon has received attention for marketing this cable, but I'm equally sure they are not the only manufacturer who has received attention because of their claims and pricing.

Disclaimer: Personally, I don't believe in spending large amounts of money for cabling of any sort but I have neither quarrel nor argument with those who choose to do so.

But, I DO believe "because I like it" and "because I want it" are two perfectly valid reasons for purchasing anything. What I may consider "absurd" may give someone else a great deal of pleasure and vice versa
