Denver trip

[Hugh]

I arrived in Denver yesterday on a business trip.

This is my very first time visiting Denver so everything is new to me. :)

Had a day long meeting with business associates yesterday so no time for anything else.
Did manage to have a wonderful dinner at Rock Bottom in Ft. Collins.
Excellent food.

Today, I paid a visit to MLS at av123.
Had a good discussion with MLS about everything from personal to business.
I also managed to take some pictures of their almost finished sound room and I have to say I was rather impressed with the X-Statiks & X-Voce in the HT along with dual Rosewood MFW (Noted these are with the new amps).
It is even better than my RS1K HT at home.:thumbsup:
I was so in love with the Rosewood finish on those MFW that I put in an order for 2 on the spot.
Noted that I already have 2 Palisander but I just got to have the Rosewood.
I took some pictures of the warehouse as well but will have to wait until I get home to post them.

I am NOT looking forward to receive my Lucid-built LS9 at all.

I saw their crates and I still don't know I'll be able to move them into my home. :(

They are HUGE. :)

Would help a friend in need, but that is a bit too far for me.

Once you get them, and get them set up, don't forget about the boxes/crates.

Have you spoken with Art about moving them around? I remember somebody mentioning those mover slides/pucks depending on the flooring, until you find a final resting spot.

Hugh - I don't know if you're an MLS fan, but the Colorado Rapids are playing DC United tonight. If you're interested, I've got an extra ticket and I'd be happy to treat you to the game. They also have a great tailgate with where they love to treat guests with some free brats, burgers, beer,etc.
