  • WAF-1s about to hit the water.

Guys, we have confirmation that the WAF-1s will be ready to ship this coming Monday. :woohoo:

I've heard that guests who have listened to the prototype are blown away by hearing such big sound come from such a small speaker. Can't wait to hear them myself.

We will do our best to keep you apprised of the shipping progress.

There is no way of knowing - it, literally, will depend on the boat from China, then clearing US customs, which should be simple (we hope). Keep in mind that this is our first experience dealing with shipping from China. When we've been through this a few more times, we, theoretically, should be better at estimating travel time.

My company ships from Hong Kong and the water time to Oakland or LA is 21 days, It usually take three days for customs and brokarage, then truck time to our warehouse from there.

If I were a betting man i''d say 33 days to your backyard from China...

I dont think that would be a good idea, isnt that what someone elses uses on all their products and they never seem to be seen from again, kind of like being sucked into a black hole. :scratchchin:

Same here. I ship stuff from Taiwan. It usually takes a month. And, I add another week for "fudge factor" when quoting delivery times.

What was final price to our doors? Is there a waiting list? Will thee be a matching black gizmo produced? K I'm done :-)

$229 per pair, delivered. No waiting list. We do not believe in pre-orders. A black Gizmo wouldn't match the Rosewood WAF-1s.

It would, I guess, match the grilles, though, wouldn't it?

There was talk of WAF-1s being offered in satin black (for those of us that don't have any rosewood yet). Is that still an option for future ? :begging: If yes, how long after rosewood's start shipping do you estimate satin black to be offered? Also, will there be any price difference (black vs. veneer)? I'm glad to see thing's are going to start happening over here :woohoo: !! I may not have many post's like some here, but I've been watching all of this since last summer !! :peeping: My main interest is still SS-10 (scamp),but I wouldn't mind a pair of WAF-1s in black either !!
