What did you watch? Any good? Subwoofer work out?

I'll start, I just watched "Once" which is a very good, modern, albeit slow moving, musical. Featuring the singer from an Irish group called "the frames" named Glen Hansard. I'll be picking up the soundtrack for sure.

Serenity

A good workout for your sub (as well as your entire system) are the first few minutes of Serenity. I'm a Firefly fan. So this is a natural follow-on.

Once was a great movie the first few viewings but my wife and daughter watched it so many times, along with playing the music constantly on ipods in the car I've grown tired of it. But they probably feel the same about Ronin, Heat, or Man on Fire.

The most recent movie I've seen that I can highly recommend is Frozen River.

Ronin just happened to be the very first DVD I ever bought (to go along with a new DVD player years ago). Just scored it on BD, too.

Best car chase movie, ever (yes...even better than Bullitt). Actually, a pretty good movie overall.

Ronin was also the first DVD I wathed when I bought my DVD player many years ago. I enjoyed the movie, but it isn't a favorite of mine. And I think the car chase in Blues Brothers was better. :)

I actually haven't watched a movie in a little while - we bought Firefly on BD and have been catching up on that.

I was looking forward to Watchmen:Tales of the Black Freighter, but my PS3 crapped out on me...

Will report when the PS3 is back in good working order from Sony.

I watched "The Spirit" over the weekend and thought it was pretty good notgreat but pretty good.

I'm looking forward to this summer and seeing movies such as Woulverine, Star Trek, Terminator, Harry Potter, ect.

Is Harry Potter going to have a summer release? Very cool, since they have almost always released them during the holiday season, even though they missed last year.

Just checked IMDB and saw that July 15 date, also surprised to see two more releases in the works. Having not read the series, how many books are there after "The Half Blood Prince?" Also, does JK cast Harry as a teenager for 6 straight years?

The last book is being cut up into two movies because this cow just can't get milked enough. Same reason they moved the 6th movie release date to summer rather than the holiday season last year.

So one more book after the new movie but two movies from that book.

I seem to watch I, Robot alot in DTS. It has alot of action and tight, clean bass scenes. I also think its has very good watchability (meaning I can watch it over and over).

Just watched Quantum of Solace - good bass but stupid story.

3:10 To Yuma - got it for the 7.1 soundtrack, no great story there either.

Really?? I really liked 3:10 to Yuma.

That's sad to hear about the James Bond....I don't know when we'll get it. It's been at the top of my netflix queue for a while and still says 'long wait'

Watch Moonracker then Quantum of Solace. You'll think it is a fine movie then.
