I just use a stereo Y cable off my soundcard. Doesn't sound that bad with my NHT Superzeros. I love the Gizmo, just wished it didn't blink when turned off. That being said, I never turn it off.
I was using a M-Audio Revolution 5.1 card with my HTPC a while back. The analog out sounded really nice, better than using the S/PDIF output and having the Pioneer receiver do the conversion. I still have the card but it's not installed in any PC right now.
What comptuer soundcard or other device are you using to get hooked up to the Gizmo?
Thanks
I was thinking the same thing Engatz for the same reason. I was looking on NewEgg and they seem to have alot of 5.1 and 7.1 soundcards. Then I remembered that I have a USB DAC 707, hooked it up from computers USB and analogue outs to an old school 2-channel denon receiver to a pair of ref .5's... OMG I should have done this months ago. Sweet sound for a computer. I'll probably hook up my old mirage powered sub tomorrow for some low end.
Anyhow... if your willing to spend a little over $100, the DAC 707 is pretty good sounding for what it is and versatile. Kind of funny I was looking for the same thing as you yesterday... and realized I had a better solution tucked away in a drawer  Maybe a sound card would sound better though... I'm not sure how that all works.
That DAC is sweet. I would like to spend less. That is another option. What other DAC are recommended. My sound card right now has optical outs but USB is and option also.
I've been looking into the same question. In the passed few months I have picked up a SP3 and Ref 1's but still don't have anything to drive them in my office. I also have a Gizmo / 525 setup next to this one. I'm dying to compare the 2 setups using the computer as my source.
