Holy crap that adobe stuff is pricey!! Were those effects done with the Topaz then?

I did my usual stuff in CS4 (looking at contrast, saturation, sharpness, etc., all the time paying attention to the histogram (used curves for certain adjustments). Then I proceeded to do certain things in Nik Color Efex (in this case, IIRC, I used pro contrast..and something else..forgot).

After all that I used Topaz and fiddled a little bit with some settings.

I do have a calibrated monitor and adjust to the point where I am visually satisfied.

                Simply beautiful. :clapper:

For some reason, I like the #1 best. :)

Guys, thanks for all the kind words.

BP, the original shot was taken with the 70-200 lens. It really is amazing to see what one can do with that lens.

70-200 is definitely one of the best Nikon has produced. I have it on my wish list. :)
