So, what's the status with TCA?

WAF-1 ... Final prototypes are on the way to Danny for his approval, then they ship to me. Production should begin in April.

DAC-MAN ... Everything is set, waiting on word from Stephen that he ordered 150 chipsets for production, which is scheduled to start next week.

Sasquatch-10 ... Drivers are ordered for final prototype, which will be more stout than last year's version. Drivers are due "any day" ... estimated production in June. The good part here, the factory is 45 minutes from my fulfillment center. The reason for June is once Mark approves the driver and amp, they will need to be produced.

Gizmo V1.0 Mod ... 168 are being sent to our fulfillment center from Colorado. The subwoofer out has been fixed. These will sell for $119 delivered.

Scamp-8 ... Mark has ordered a couple of drivers for testing, and has the greenlight to not only go after this aggressively, but to also go after a matching inexpensive monitor, possibly using a 4 inch or 3 inch full range driver. Objective is a high quality $500 5.1 system.

DR-S8 ... Prototype is on the way to Erie. For a refresher, this is a Danny designed 8 inch sub for someone looking for a subwoofer with sealed 10 inch sub "tight" combined with deeper extension than a $299 10 inch sealed possibly could.

These are the bread and butter projects for us.

Once we have these rolling, Sasquatch-18 will become a priority.

Sounds and looks great Craig :jiggy:

Of course, soon after Gargantuan-26 we'll see Panache right

Panache is actually in the Scamp-8 update. After talking this over with Mark, our 8 inch sub will easily be linear to 150 Hz, making it a perfect match for a 3 or 4 inch uni-driver loudspeaker.

"Panache" as a name is still up in the air. A lot of people have mentioned not liking the name.

:woo: I was wondering if that was the case. Sounds like a purrrfect plan :clapper: I really hope it maintains the same appearance (don't care about the name) as Panache, though. I REALLY like it's looks!

            Thanks for the update Craig.
It looks like a very nice arrangement of product you have in the pipeline.

            Best.......Carlo.

Awesome news Craig. Thanks for posting. I have two questions if you don't mind.

First, for those of us who already have a Gizmo V1.0, are there any options for us to have it modded besides doing it ourselves? (In other words, could we pay to send it in and have it modded for us?) Not a big deal, just wondering.

Second, this is my first time seeing the mentioning of an 18-inch sub. I know it's ridiculously early to even be mentioning specifics about it, but roughly how much would you expect Sasquatch-18 to cost? (By roughly, I mean how many whole-dollar digits would the price contain? :D)

                TCA Comparison Spec sheets

                Craig -

It would be nice to see a comparisons "spec sheet" PDF of the various prouducts.
Possibly organized by class -- eg monitors, subs, amps, etc. - for comparison.
I would include a "version #/updated on __ date" so that it can be updated as things change.

I don't know if you would be interested in doing it, but I'd be interested in how the TCA subs fit into the comparison with other products -- eg Seaton Submersive, etc. -- considering the audience and designers involved.

                Cool stuff.

                Thanks.

Any word on Gizmo v1.1? I'm assuming this won't happen until the modded v1.0 are almost sold out?

Definitely will be nice to have the tracking sub out and non-flashing front...but until then...the v1.0 still does it's job very nicely.

Only if you can promise me that the actual delivery date will be within 6 months 2 weeks and 5 days of the estimated time of arrival. Of course, as long as you update me as to when I'll get an update of the actual delivery date, I'll hold out a little longer.

OK, I'll stop. I just had to join in the :stirthepot: since I hadn't yet.
