  • CHT Subs + MQ600 + XPA-3 + GiK Acoustics

Hi everyone, I finally got my set-up to a point where I'm satisfied "enough" and the journey has been fantastic! I started with two 18.T's with a crown amp and the bass was better than I ever had, but something was missing. I bought two more from a friend of mine and yes four 18' subs sounded great, but.. Something was missing. I heard about the new MQ600 amp floating around and I got in line to test it out. That amp saved my subs! They came out from hiding and was kicking me in the chest, so I ordered it and added it to the system but... something was missing. The power seemed to make my fronts take a back seat so I ordered the Emotiva XPA-3 and it added the missing punch from my fronts but.... again something was missing. My GiK Acoustics panels (Four 244 bass traps, Six 242 acoustic panels, and One Monster bass trap) came in over the weekend and OMG!!!! They cleared up all the gunk and slurring in the room, the subs sound absolutely amazing! I keep finding that these subs get better and better. I had to give GiK Acoustics a big pat on the back as without them I would not have known there was more to my subs than I could possibly imagine. Big thanks to Craig, Emotiva, and GiK!! :applause:

Thanks, my buddy TWISM talked me out of doing a tablet and hooked me up with some nice pc equipment. It only made sense but now I have two towers, two laptops, and a iPad for my son down here. Again "enough" can mean so many things lol:)
