Excuse the iPhone picture. Better ones are-a-coming within a day or so.
Dainty little thing, ain't she?
Best.....Carlo.
Since dual opposed is always touted as being so devoid of any vibration, we'll be interested to hear your views on this. Would be nice to know if there's any sonic difference between the two, but that wouldn't be possible for you.
My guess with the combined weight of the cones and voice coils, it would make a negligible difference.
Have a ball with that monster- I mean, little thing! It's about time!
The "little Princess" is pretty stout if I do say so myself. Like you were saying, I can't speak to the "inertness" of the dual opposed version but with the little that I've played with her so far, "dinky" here sounds very similar to the old one and she don't move at all!
I know for a fact, she does put out! And, I think she has a lot of identical sisters!
You'll find out with any tight suspension, the more you give her, the more she'll put out over time. If you research, you may find out how superbly she goes down!
While the phone picture can't really convey this I have to say that this sub has the nicest finish and feel of any of the CHT products that I have. Not that the others are bad or lacking by any stretch, but this looks and feels that extra step more. There are no flaws or blemishes. The finish is flawless, all the rounded edges are all exactly the same and the flush mounted drivers are a nice touch. There is nothing "value" about the look of this sub.
