Other than looking through the product threads and review threads, check avsforum and search under subwoofers for some pictures.....

    I'd post but I don't have any yet!:crying:

rramacha, I seriously doubt you'll find any pictures of the series 2 monolith, yet. Any pictures posted so far are of the CS-18.2, the first group had no grills, and the second group had grills both with the older lightly pebbled finish. The new series 2 has the smooth finish you now see on the series 2 18.1 and 18.T subs, and also has no grill option presently.

Craig has said he is getting a professional photographer to come in and take pictures of the subs and will be posting those then. Not even sure if they are in-stock yet - give them a call and check. Great people to talk to!

Also, be sure to check out all the reviews of the CS-18.2 - the monolith will have the nicer finish, but the same performance of the previous units, which in my and many other opinions is nothing less than spectacular!
It continues to wow me even after several months. And knowing I have the most powerful and musical sub out there at this price point makes me smile!

            Thanks for the tip

Do you mean it only has physical face lift and under the hood everything being same?

On the other hand face lift may help with WAF

Only the box finish has changed, amp and woofers are identical since original was released, even the birch plywood is the same.

                    Via Ray in another thread...

tess, Mike, et al - no need to "put you down for one". You can go right into the website and place an order.

They (CS-18.1 S2 Mono, CS-18.T Duo and CS-18.2 S2 Monolith) will be at the factory on Thursday the 4th and will start shipping by the end of next week.

Can't wait to see the new stuff!

Yes, yes... thanks for the reminder, HuskerO. :fryingpan:

I bought a 55" HDTV instead of the subs. Wouldn't make sense to have all that bass and a 27" CRT. Subs next, though! :biglaugh:

Is there a CS SS Twin 18.2 series 2?:scratchchin:

I admit I haven't been following this closely but should we really have to to tell one product from the other?
