  • Sealed or Ported...what do you think?

~4000 cubic feet, 13.5x33x9, all concrete floors...heavy carpet in listening area of room.....open to upstairs only via stairs...

    So....

    CS 18.T or VS 18.1 (1 or 2)?

Thinking sealed...but when you have until 2/1 to order...you get to run ideas by everyone that has a thought! :whoopie:

My room is 4300 cu ft. And I prefer sealed.

I'm hopefully going with dual 18.Ts in a ~6000 cu ft room that's open to ~10-12K+.
Most posts made under this account probably influenced by "kool-aid". Done drinking what Chase is offering, and my current views have significantly changed.

I have a ported sub (which can be sealed -- never tried that actually:dizzy:) and I'm interested in trying a sealed sub.

If you get Audyssey SubEQ I would really think about getting two subs.

I have an open floor plan, I am going to start with the 18.T Duo. If I need more bass, I'll add another 18.T Duo.

This is just for a 2 channel system.
