  • Veneer options

I want to upgrade my sub (SVS PB12+2) for my main system AND would like it ot match the look of my Onix RS1000Sig (Rosewood). So far I am stuck with the PB13 Ultra but that's a hefty price tag. Any chance that those 18.2 are offered in Rosewood veneer? I'd be happy for any feedback.
    Main System
    - 4x RS1000Sig, RSC200, SVS-PB12+2
    - OdysseyAudio Stratos Mono Extreme (2x), Stereo Extreme, SymphonicLine RG4
    - OutlawAudio 990
    - Zalman HTPC, Shanling MC200, PS3, Xbox360, Wii
    - Sony KDS60 XBR2
    - MonsterPower AVS2000, HTS5100

    Secondary System
    - Onix Strata Mini
    - Melody SP3
    - Pacific Valce NOS DAC
    - PS3
    - Panasonic 42'' Plasma
    - Bada LB-5500

Benson - We are in the process of changing our base finish. We are also talking to our oem about various wood finishes. I will see what I can find out about Rosewood.

    Thanks !!

If I ever decide (???) to upgrade my subwoofer setup I might be able to sell you mine.
      SUBWOOFER: SVS PB12-Ultra/2 (rosewood) -- circa 2005 I believe.
(There should be some pics in my signature link to AVS HT build thread)

I think the only reason I might upgrade was if I got a Denon 4311CI with Sub EQ and wanted to try to (narrower) subs and locate them behind a false wall.

I listened to Return of the King (BR) at reference level last night and the sub kept up.
      I do like the rosewood.
I think eD (Elemental Design) offers various finishes (eg bamboo, etc) -- although not Rosewood.

How about Seaton (some options, but not rosewood)...
(but prices aren't low if you are trying to save vs. SVS)

        please move thread

I think this should be moved to "Subwoofer" forum rather than "User Reviews"...
