  • Bossobass Subwoofer Guide

Over on a forum long ago there was a Bossobass Subwoofer Guide. It's still there as a text file but the pdf is apparently gone. Some may find it useful so before it disappears I took some liberties and downloaded the text file, edited it and made it into a smaller pdf. I did it quickly so there still could be some editing needs, but here you go:

I was the one that put together the Word doc for that. I have the converted PDF file if you need it.

Why at the end of Jack's edited version does it say to send all gear to an address in Tinton Falls, NJ for 'evaluation'?

Something not quite right there. :no clue:

I guess you should have asked before setting out to re-invent the wheel :D

There's a good possibility that you're stopping with one of those "wheels" I've been reinventing for the last 30 years, so why should I stop now.

v1.1 of the original pdf...Watermark is removed

Here's an updated version of the original PDF. I just removed the watermark for easier reading and more-efficient printing :)

Oh yeah. Well mine's only 10 pages and 1/4 the size so it will take up less hard drive space. :assshake:

                            Did anyone notice

Did anyone notice on page 17 of that PDF regarding seperating using a bottom dwelling sub for LFE and a musical sub for redirected bass, the following:

"You will reduce distortions of every kind. You'll notice a tighter, less 'bloated' sound in the low frequency reproduction of your system when playing any source that contains LFE information.
You'll be able to have a bottom feeding LFE monster and a tight, musical subwoofer in the same system, as, contrary to some subwoofer manufacturer's hype, one subwoofer design cannot do both exceptionally well."

This is sort of, kind of, what i brought up in my thoughts on the paradigm sub thread..
