  • A3 Center Channel

    Jon,
I was thinking last night about center channel speakers, I don't know why but I have a fetish with CC speakers (want identical LCR's) I would really like to have an A5 CC, this giving me an all A5 LCR front stage. I don't know if this is feasible so I was thinking of an A3 without the bottom chamber, in other words a shorter vertical A3 with TMM configuration that I could put on a DIY floor stand, the 40"height of the A3 is a bit high for my application, what do you think. Jon while I have your attention, I oriented a single A1b on top of my TV and was really impressed with the CC presentation, more so than below the TV, I will try and put dual A1b's above TV wired in parallel and see what happens. What are your thoughts of two A1b's wired in parallel oriented vertically on either side of TV with tweets at ear level? Thank you Jon for taking the time to respond to my somewhat crazy and rediculous concoctions, I value your opinion and your passion for the truth.
    Best regards, Jeff :)

I don't see TAI doing a cut-down A3 although we mentioned an A6 WM/TW "center" for future rollout.

You could try the A1b pair in a variety of setups, Jeff, far left-center and far right-center being one. Kindly let us know what you find out.
